Job Description
Are you an enthusiastic and motivated student with a passion for baking and ready to step into the working world?
RCL FOODS is excited to offer an opportunity for dynamic, driven, and passionate individuals to join our Baking Learnership Program. We are looking for 15 learners to join our Pretoria West facility, where they will embark on a transformative journey into the world of professional baking.
This comprehensive 12-month program is designed to equip learners with the essential knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience needed to thrive in the baking industry. Through a structured mentorship and coaching program, learners will receive in-depth training on the full baking process, from ingredient selection to the production of high-quality baked goods.
In addition to practical experience, learners will gain a SETA-accredited qualification that is endorsed by SAQA. This qualification not only confirms competence in the baking field but also increases employability in a competitive job market.
Key Learning Outcomes:
Practical Experience: Learners will work alongside industry professionals at RCL FOODS and receive hands-on training to understand and execute the baking process.
Mentorship and Coaching: Each learner will have access to dedicated mentors who will provide guidance and support throughout the program, ensuring they grasp key concepts and best practices.
SETA Qualification: This accredited learnership culminates in a formal qualification, opening doors to career opportunities in the baking industry.
Through our Supreme Siyabhaka Academy, the learnership aims to:

Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Baking Learnership Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualifications: A Grade 12 qualification with Hospitality Studies and Mathematics (or Mathematical Literacy) is essential.
Computer Literacy: Knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, etc.) is advantageous but not mandatory.
Personal Qualities: We are looking for individuals who demonstrate:
